About the Author

PageLines- author.jpgI teach adult education courses in prose writing and writing for children, and at the moment I’m a postgraduate research student at Edge Hill University.

My Ph.D. is based in the creative writing department, and Bad Influences will be the main part of my thesis; I’ll also be writing a critical analysis of the poetics of blog fiction, and looking at the effects of its formal characteristics on its narratology, especially how real-time serialisation affects narrative time.

I enjoy non-hierarchical organising, collective direct action and knitting, all of which are easier to get the hang of than most people think.
